One-second
Set-up Technique
for the New Green Pizza Box
This diagram shows a section of the blank of the New Green Pizza Box. It depicts the unique InstaFold Corner Lock technology.

The New Green Pizza Box is the high-performance replacement for the traditional pizza box (a.k.a. walker lock box).
One of the many features of the New Green Pizza Box is its super-quick set-up. You can set up the front and side walls, or the two front corners, in about one second. Once you get the knack of it which takes no more than about three minutes it's automatic.
However, to perform this technique in a second it must be executed properly. So please read these directions. Then take just three minutes to practice the 3-motion sequence (below). After that you'll be a One-second Set-up Master.
One-second
Set-up involves 3 motions:
Motion
1: Side Walls IN
Motion 2: Front Wall DOWN
Motion 3:
Side Walls OUT
Performance Time = 1 Second
HOW TO DO IT
TO BEGIN Hold the blank like this.
Have the printed surface facing you.
NEXT FOLD THE SIDE WALLS IN (Motion 1)
Fold the side walls inward to the point where they're beyond perpendicular to the bottom panel as shown above. Stop when you feel resistance increasing.
THEN PUSH THE FRONT WALL DOWN (Motion 2)
Push the front wall downward with your thumbs while holding the side walls in. This causes each hooked-shaped LOCK-TAB to push open the LOCKING FLAP and project through the opening in the front wall.
FINALLY PULL THE SIDE WALLS OUT (Motion 3)
Pull the side walls outward while holding the front wall down. This causes the lock-tabs to lock the front wall in upright position.
AND RELEASE.
Place on table and load.
NOTE: If you desire to finish folding the box at this point, simply pull the cover panel forward and close up the box the same way as you would with a traditional pizza box. TIP: leave the cover front flap out for easy opening later. Tuck in this flap after the box has been loaded with pizza.
How
to be a One-second Set-up Master
With a bundle of blanks, repeat
the above 3-motion sequence 25 times in a row (with 25 blanks). On the first try
do it very slowly. Then with each following try, increase your speed
just slightly. By the time you reach the 25th blank you'll have this 3-motion
sequence mastered
and will be doing it in a SECOND.
OPTIONAL WAY: If you prefer, you can use one blank instead of 25. To do this, remove the locking flap from each of the two lock-tab openings (left and right ends of the front wall). This will enable you to instantly disengage the lock-tabs after they've been engaged. With the locking flap removed, you can repeat the 3-motion sequence 25 times in a row by simply engaging, disengaging, and re-engaging the lock-tab repeatedly for 25 times. (The disengaging procedure is the engaging sequence in reverse.) As said above, the first time do it very slowly. Then with each following engagement, increase your speed just slightly. By the 25th time you'll be doing it in a second.
